Yes. Eat right, and exercise. You want a pill that is gonna make up for that but it won't. Rewards come at expense (of energy) not a bottle.

Love in a Box
I have my quirks and eccentricities, and so does my husband. But we are mostly a middle class couple through and through. We work hard, love football and pizza, and are struggling to balance the demands of life yet wanting a child. And I would say we identify with pretty stereotypical personas (Tim McGraw and Faith Hill?). But the day to day love and commitment I get from my spouse goes way beyond stereotypes. I know he loves me for who I am and I am starting to learn that I can develop my eccentricities (weightlifting??) without a loss of love. How good is that? Awesome.

How many of your thoughts kept you from being happy today?
This post on MentalFloss:

is very funny but quite sad. Apparently we've been telling ourselves we're ugly for a long time. Who is telling you that you are fat or ugly or not sexy? Probably you. Obviously we are getting subtle messages from someplace (ok everywhere) but you can't do anything about that. Tell yourself something different and enjoy today.

Small Diet Tips with Big Impact
1) Cut out the soda pop. Switching to diet drinks is a GOOD first step. Diet drinks MAY not be good in the long run, but it is a good way to cut out calories IF you need to be drinking pop. This is an addiction and sometimes going cold turkey isn't the answer.
2) Fry your foods in a GOOD fat. Olive oil and coconut oil are good choices. May your own homestyle fries in these oils and feel good about eating fried foods.
3) Select natural dairy products that are not processed. No more velveet@. Choose real cheese.
4) If you eat a lot of pasta, sub out half of it with a vegetable noodle. Yam noodles have ZERO calories, yes you read that right.
5) Look at the label of your prepared foods. Choose a spaghetti sauce with less sugar. Choose everything with less sugar! Sugar has many names. If you don't know what's in your foods, GOOGLE it and educate yourself. I'm gonna state here now that the biggest reason for OBESITY is ignorance.
6) Switch to dark chocolate for treats instead of candy bars or candy.
7) Pork rinds are better than potato chips or cheetOs.

Get those drugs out of your house!
You have kids? Would you keep cyanide in your house and just hope your kids don't get in to it? Of course not. Well, if you have prescription meds in your house that you don't use (old or just unused) especially pain meds or anxiety meds you are playing with fire. Right now the DEA is telling pharmacies that they can't accept the controlled meds in their "drop boxes." But guess what? Pharmacies don't monitor what goes in there and the meds will be destroyed. So just do it! This will put pressure on the DEA to change the law that is killing our kids. If you can't find a drop box, put the pain meds down the toilet. This is bad for the environment, but your kid's life is more important.
